The favorite event of summer is back in Detroit, Chicago and Cleveland!
All information on these pages was for our Summer 2011 Events. Thanks for joining us. Everyone had a great time. Information will be updated on this page as we finalize details for our 2012 events. Tickets to our 2012 events will go on sale May 1, 2012. We look forward to seeing you at a ballpark in the future!

All-American Celebrations on tap for the Summer of 2011!
Get ready Detroit, Cleveland and Chicago! The Great Lakes Scholars are coming to town and ready to celebrate at the ballpark.
All three locations will offer the chance for Scholars to walk on the playing field of legends and one lucky Scholar will be selected at each game for a special ceremony. We've also arranged blocks of hotel rooms in each city for out-of-town travelers.
GameDay T-Shirts Available
This year you will have a chance to buy a special commemorative t-shirt for the evening. (Pictures on this web site contain shirts from previous years). T-Shirts will be shipped prior to the game so participants may wear them to the game. The cost of the t-shirt is $13.95.
GLS Hats
We also have stylish Great Lakes Scholars hats. These hats with the Great Lakes Scholars logo and name embroidered on them are sharp, sharp, sharp! The cost of the hat is $15.

Complete directions and instructions will be sent to you with your tickets (and t-shirt or hat) if you choose to participate. Tickets will be mailed two weeks prior to the game. Make sure to submit your order form today so you can be a part of this fun and exciting event. There are a limited number of tickets available and past years' events have sold out!
To participate in the on-field appearance and to be eligible for the drawing for the special field ceremony, you must purchase your tickets through Great Lakes Scholars using the enclosed order form or at our website. Those who purchase tickets outside of Great Lakes Scholars will not be able to participate in the pre-game on-field activities.
There is NO LIMIT to the number of tickets you may purchase while supplies last. You may purchase tickets to all three events if you like.
